PROGRAM OVERVIEW This program enhances techniques that health practitioners currently employ when implementing creative movement activities in care or rehabilitation.

The program demonstrates ways that movement : • increases coordination, strength and flexibility and releases body tension and improves balance, and • creates a familiar environment in which the participants enjoy movement and music in a safe, supportive environment.

FULLY SUBSIDISED TRAINING This program is fully subsidised and would be offered to you as FEE FREE.

The training is ideal for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists, aged care nurses and anyone who is involved in using movement in a wellbeing capacity.

It is customised for health practitioners who may have limited or no background in creative movement, with a focus on: • dance styles • the relationship between dance and music • the use of rhythm in dance exercises, and • the creative process.

Participants will gain or refresh skills in : • incorporating movement in care, rehabilitation and well-being programs, and • engaging confidently in experiences that resonate with their clients.
